I bumped into one of my friends from my childhood, as I was shopping the other day. While we were catching each other up on our lives, he let me know that he is also in the construction business. We discussed each of our companies for a time, until he let slip that he ran into some legal troubles a couple months ago that was still ongoing.
He said that he had laid some sewer piping, for a big corporate office building and since the Pipe Laser that he was using wasn’t reliable, the pipe angles and its direction were incorrect. The Pipe Laser had given him an incorrect readout and so the piping was laid wrong and was causing a lot of issues within the building. He was now being sued for the issues, the money that they had paid him for the job, his license and anything else the corporate company could think of.
I was astounded. Every construction worker knows how important it is to use reliable and accurate instruments. I was glad that I owned the Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser. This Pipe Laser is an extremely reliable instrument that has a long lasting performance. One of the features that I love is the Service Alert Feature which allows the machine to keep track of its own maintenance needs, indicating at pre-set intervals when it’s time for a check up. If my friend would have owned the DG511, it would have informed him that there was something wrong with the machine before he began the job.
The Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser is also built and designed for the toughest job site and is completely waterproof. My Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser is usually involved in very harsh conditions and receives constant abuse from my crew. But the Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser stands up to all that and corrosions from chemicals, acids and other destructive elements.
In addition to the DG511 Pipe Laser being very rugged, it also has the largest automatic leveling range in the industry providing quick, easy set-ups, regardless of grade. Unlike traditional pipe lasers, the DG511 Pipe Laser eliminates the need for rough leveling and minimizes crew training. Simply set up the laser in the pipe, manhole or open cut without the need to swivel or rough level the unit. There is no need to reset the unit over the center point, when rough leveling.
