Spectra Precision GL700 Slop Laser

A farmer called me the other day about a patch of land that he needed to farm. Apparently the land was not flat but neither was it sloped in one direction. It had ridges and breaks, and small hills. The customer informed me that it was a large piece of land and he needed it sloping slightly so that when it rains the water would run off in one direction and not pool in one spot and cause the plants to die.
I got an email yesterday from a company that designs and builds pools. These pools are sometimes the large Olympic-type pools for commercial clients and sometimes small and unique pools for private citizens. They needed a laser that sloped in both axis. The Olympic type pools would just need one axis to slope but some of their smaller customers want to have fancy pools that slope in one direction or two or change their degree of slope in the middle of the pool.
A big golf company contacted me and told me that they were creating a new golf course and their five year old laser was just stolen. They wanted something that would give them the degree of slopes that they required on the field, but can also be used to create perfectly flat land. They needed the range to be far and accurate and would stay up to speed technology wise.
In all three instances I recommended the Spectra Precision GL700 Series. There was no doubt in my mind that the GL700 series would outperform the customers’ expectations.
The Spectra GL700 provides years of durable and precise performance on the job site that will keep you at the competitive edge. With the GL700 Series Lasers, Spectra Precision has created an innovative solution built for today’s construction industry, which is economical but more advanced than most lasers in its class. Its features range from a single grade laser to an advanced, long range radio controlled steep grade transmitter.
The Spectra GL700 series is for applications that require maximum stability and accuracy. Using its PlaneLok feature, you can virtually eliminate beam drift by locking the laser beam to a fixed elevation. All you have to do is simply set your hand held receiver at the desired elevation, select the PlaneLok mode on the remote control and the laser beam will remain exactly at that elevation all day long, regardless of the wind or temperature changes. This increased immovability and precision means less rework, better material control and a better bottom line.
Furthermore, the long-range remote control, with two-way communications between the laser and the remote, now allows you to change grade on the fly without approaching the transmitter. No more long walks to the laser to fix the grade. By remotely changing and reading grade information, you can speed setup and reduce costly communication errors.
The Grade Matching Mode and Automatic Axis Alignment also save you time and effort. These two features allow you to get grade faster and with more accuracy. If slope match is needed but you don’t know what the grades is, simply set your receiver at the same height as the transmitter, go to your remote point, press a button on the wireless remote and the transmitter automatically matches and displays the grade without returning to the laser. The GL700 Lasers also allow simple alignment of either side of any grade axis to the desired remote point. This simple, one-person operation lets you roughly align the transmitter to within 40 degrees of the remote point. You can then go to your remote point and, with a simple button press on the wireless remote, the axis is automatically aligned. The remote provides immediate confirmation of the alignment.
On site, you’ll find that the advanced features quickly translate into productivity and accuracy. Complex alignments are automatic and virtually foolproof. With the powerful, long-range remote control option it only takes one person to accurately set up and operate the grade laser. With the GL700 series, you can count on quicker set-ups and more productivity for more profitability. Get the right laser for the right job, get one of the GL700 Series Lasers.

GL700 SERIES LASERS

Spectra Precision Grade Laser GL512/GL522

This past winter vacation, my family and I decided to take up skiing. None of us had ever gone before and we were all very excited for the experience. When my family arrived at the Ski Resort we dumped our luggage in our rooms and grabbed the new gear we just bought. We ran outside and looked out at the huge mountain with people skiing downhill. There was some shared disappointment when we realized that we had to start at the beginners slope before we could try anything else.

My family rushed to the beginners slope to receive instruction on how to ski properly and to start practicing. The beginners “slope” look more like flat land then a hill. I wondered briefly whether we would actually be able to ski down it or whether it was only to practice standing. However, when I tried to ski I found that the beginner’s hill was indeed sloped. I recognized that it must be sloped at a very slight angle or at a 5-10% slope. The only way the Ski resort could have achieved a perfect slope like that was by using a Spectra Precision GL512 or GL522 Grade Laser.

The Spectra Precision GL512 or GL522 Lasers are rugged, cost-effective, automatic self leveling lasers that do three jobs—level, grade and vertical alignment. The difference between the GL512 and the GL522 grade laser is that the GL512 is a single slope and the GL522 is a dual slope laser. This means that the GL512 can only slope in one axis while the GL522 can slope in both. Both lasers have a large grade range from -10% to +15%.

Both the GL512 and the GL522 include a two-way remote control with a built in back-lit display. You can do everything with the remote control that you can do with the laser keypad for up to 330 feet away from the laser! The ability to make grade changes from anywhere on the job greatly reduces setup time and speeds up the operation.

Additionally, the Spectra Precision GL512 and GL522 Grade Laser self-plumb in the vertical position to allow an even wider range of applications such as tilt up and curtain wall plumbing, anchor bolt installations and plus form. Both units also incorporate automatic temperature and grade compensation for high accuracy in any weather or geographical locations. The Electronic Leveling Vibration Filter on the Spectra Lasers dampen vibrations typically experienced on tall tripods, in high winds, or on high vibration jobsites. On both models, the laser beam can be turned off electronically on up to three sides of your choice. This capability eliminates interference with other crews on the job site by keeping the beam from straying into other work areas.

New wireless communication between the HL750 Receiver and the Spectra Precision GL512/GL522 laser provides automatic Grade Match. Grade Matching allows the measurement of unknown grade values between two points. Grade Match displays the existing grade over unknown ground and eliminates time consuming, error prone calculations, time spent searching for grade plans, and over excavating. PlaneLok is also available in both the horizontal and vertical planes. PlaneLok automatically locks the beam on the receiver and keeps it on grade. This eliminates all environmental factors that may induce an error. Furthermore, the HL750 Receiver works with a second HL750 for long range wireless remote display and monitoring.
The Spectra GL512 and GL522 Grade Lasers are great for general construction leveling such as forms, footers and pads. They also provide precision placement of concrete for critical specification surfaces over long distance. The GL512 and GL522 can also be used for sports fields, driveways, ramps and drainage, steep slopes, road embankments, ditch banks, parking garage, mini-mart, tennis courts, golf course and of course ski slopes!

Electronic Construction Level Leica Sprinter 205M

Football is known to be a bonding experience for fathers and sons. That’s why I found myself standing in the cold on a Sunday afternoon with my son, cheering wildly and screaming myself hoarse for my football team. It was the bottom of the fourth quarter only a minute left until the end of the game. Our team had the ball and we were behind by four points. It was the third down and we were forty nine yards from the goal. We had two opportunities to score a touchdown and win the game!

The quarterback screamed, “Hike!” as the crowd watched breathlessly. The football was snapped into his hands. He looked around and there was one of our wide receivers running down the sidelines, wide open for a forty yard catch. The ball was thrown and caught! The crowd went wild.

The receiver slid right out of bounds after the catch and fell hard on his leg. The applauding crowd slowly quieted as they realized that he wasn’t getting up. I tried to reassure my son that everything was going to be okay, as the medics ran onto the scene and set up a stretcher. Everyone was stunned and bewildered by what had happened. Why didn’t he get up? He wasn’t tackled and he didn’t look like he hit anything hard when he stepped out of bounds.

After the game, I found out that the ground was uneven in the particular spot where the receiver stepped out of bounds. This caused the receiver to land awkwardly on his leg and sprain it. Investigations were taking place into the construction company that had been contracted to build the stadium and who had made this seemingly small error.

If the construction company had owned a Leica Sprinter 250M Electronic Level, this mistake never would have occurred. With the Leica Sprinter 250M, precise leveling measurements are easy to perform. The Sprinter 250M allows users to complete their job quickly, efficiently and accurately.
The Leica Sprinter 250M offers everything that you would expect from a construction instrument. It enhances user benefits with straightforward user interface and value-added functions. The Sprinter 250M is the perfect tool for advanced construction leveling tasks. It can store up to 1’000 measurements and download and transfer them for further calculations into Excel on a PC via USB. The Leica Sprinter 250M offers delta height calculation and programs line leveling, cut and fill and monitors your leveling job significantly. The .7 mm accuracy of the 250M and the monitoring program allow machine and construction subsidence measurements.
With the Leica Sprinter 250M’s high-accuracy optical elements, you simply aim and focus the staff as an optical level. Then simply push the red button to take the measurement. That‘s all you need to do! No intensive training necessary. In addition, optical readings are no longer needed. The bar code on the staff determines height and distance which is displayed on a highly visible LCD screen. The Leica Sprinter 250M Electronic Level also takes on your calculations. Choose the right application in your language and the correct results will be displayed. It can measure height and distance, delta height, tracking, line leveling, cut and fill and monitoring.
The Sprinter 250 covers almost all construction applications. It automatically determines your delta height which can calculate the height difference between points. You would enter your benchmark, measure your back sight and then various targets or foresights. As you are measuring, the delta height is always calculated and displayed. With the line leveling function, whether you only have back and foresights or even intermediate sights, you can choose the line leveling job you need. All you have to do is enter your starting benchmark, measure your back sights, intermediate sights and foresights until you have reached your final point. All measurements are stored in the appropriate order.
For continuous measurement on the Sprinter 250M, choose the tracking mode and averaging mode for more accurate results. The Cut & Fill feature is an onboard application that indicates the cut and fill result based on a reference level. You would enter your required reference level and benchmark. Take the back sight and start measuring. The program will now display the cut and fill results, height differences and will compare it to your reference level.
With all the Sprinter 250M functions and abilities, there is no doubt in my mind that no errors will be made or can be made on a construction sight. Everything is self explanatory and easy to use with this Electronic Level.

Large File Folders VFile

My daughter is currently enrolled in an art college and she loves it. Out of all her classes, she loves the painting and drawing classes the most. Everyday she comes home and explains a new technique that she learned and then runs to her room to try it out on a paper or canvas.

I have been noticing lately that she has begun to spread out. It used to be that I never saw any of her work or projects outside of her own bedroom. Now, they seem to find their way onto the kitchen table, laid out in the hallways, stacked on the living room couch or even in the garage. It looked as if the paintings and designs were going to take over the house. I finally had had enough one day and told her that she needs to find something to store her drawings and pictures in.

She came to me later that night and presented an item made by Advance Organizing Systems to store her papers in. It is called the VFile and Folders. She said that she had wanted something that was easy to carry around, but that was very sturdy at the same time. The VFile and Folders were the ideal choice. The corrugated cardboard that the Vfile was made out of gave it the ability to be moved from room to room. It also has a reinforced bottom so that it would hold the heavier canvases and watercolor projects my daughter created.

My daughter also explained that she could put up to 750 prints in one of the VFiles. All she needs to do was place her document flat into the one of the Folders that the VFile comes with, and slide the Folders into the box. The Vfile also has places where you may clearly label all your works for future reference. Advance Organizing Systems also made the Vfile and its Folders with Acid-Free materials so that none of my daughter’s projects would get ruined if she wanted to store them permanently.

The best part out of everything was the price. It was very affordable and economical. This easy to use resolution was clearly the perfect method to consolidate and store my daughter’s projects. Advance Organizing Systems’ really thought about everything when creating the VFile with Folders.

Corrugated Upright Roll Files for BluePrint and Large Document Storage

I looked around my office last week and realized that it was a mess. Papers littered the floors, blueprints and plans were stuffed on shelves and maps were stacked on desks and chairs. I saw important documents and papers ripped, torn, wrinkled and stained from being out in the open and in everyone’s way. I realized that I would need to purchase something to store the papers in before they completely took over the office and were ruined for good.

I searched online for storage units and saw some flat files. I quickly discarded the idea of the flat files because I wanted an option that would allow me to easily move the storage space around the offices. I then came across the Advance Organizing Systems’ products called the Manager Rolled Document Storage Units. They were perfect.

The Manager Rolled Document Storage Units are made out of attractive corrugated cardboard that is very sturdy and has a reinforced bottom for heavier items. They are easy to move from place to place which made it ideal for what I had in mind. The Manager Rolled Document Storage Units are also made with Acid-Free materials so that none of my important papers would get ruined if I wanted to store them permanently.

The Manger Rolled Document Storage Units are easily stackable and also come in various sizes which is extremely helpful since all the drawings and charts that I have, come in different lengths and widths. On top of that, it comes with partitions that can be added or taken away to create bigger or smaller slots for your designs to slide into. This easy to use solution was clearly the best option for my office. Advance Organizing Systems’ really thought about everything when creating the Manager Rolled Document Storage Units.

Leica Disto D330I Handheld laser distance meter w/ Bluetooth

I was measuring a house for a really big client of mine so I kept double checking all of my work as I was going through the residence. After each measurement I took I jotted down the figure and checked at least three times to make sure it matched what was on the screen of my laser. As soon as I finished the last room, I handed the notebook to my assistant and went to call my client to tell him I had finished.
The phone rang a couple times and then was forwarded to his voicemail. I started to leave a message when my assistance got my attention and told me to hang up. As I hung up, my assistance hesitantly told me that I had made a mistake in writing down some of the measurements. I was astounded. I had double checked every single measurement I wrote down with the one I took on the measuring device, and still I had made mistakes! My assistant showed me on the saved measurements on the laser that some of them did not match the ones in my notebook. This meant that I had to go through the entire house another time, measure everything and check my work again.
Good thing that Leica Geosystems just came out with a new Laser Distance Measurer Device with Bluetooth. It is called the Leica Disto D330I. Due to the Bluetooth technology, measurement results can be wirelessly and accurately transferred to Pocket PCs and PCs. Then you can easily process your data in Excel, Word, AutoCAD and other Window programs. This cuts out a lot of errors when writing down the measurements and then transferring them onto the computer. If only I had a Leica Disto D330I at the time I was measuring the house I would have saved myself a lot of time, effort and money.
Additionally, the Leica Disto D330I is equipped with a tilt sensor, calculation possibilities for rectangular and triangular areas, volumes, room dimensions and various types of Pythagoras functions. It also has a smart horizontal mode which combines distance and tilt measurements so that you may determine the horizontal distance precisely and simply. If you take a measurement at an inclination of ± 45°, the Leica Disto D330I always calculates the shortest distance, so you can measure quickly and easily, even over the top of objects and people.

The measurement results are displayed on the large two inch screen that is clearly arranged. At the touch of a button, the display makes supplementary information available about the measurements for example indirect height, room dimensions, angle information or room angles. The Leica Disto D330I also contains the transfer software and is easy to install in your PC. To avoid lots of human errors, the Leica Disto D330I with Bluetooth is the way to go.

Leica Grade Laser 260SG

After work the other day, I took my crew out bowling as a treat. We got our bowling shoes, two lanes and some pizza. I had never been to this particular bowling alley and I was impressed by the cleanliness and sophistication of the decorations. I sat down as one of my buddies took the job of putting all our names into the system.
As some of the crew member started to bowl, they began to complain about the lanes. There was something off about them. They weren’t level. I just thought the crew was whining to cover up the fact that they couldn’t bowl. Then it was my turn. Now I’m not a professional bowler, but I know I am pretty good. As I released the ball I knew it was going to hit the pins dead center. But as I watched the ball veered to the left and went straight into the gutter. I stared open mouthed with disbelief. There was definitely something wrong with the lanes.
My crew and I decided that we were going to figure out what was wrong. Most of the balls that we bowled veered to the left and dropped into the gutter. I realized that I had a Leica 260SG Rotary Laser in my car and ran to go get it. The bowling attendants looked at me strangely as I set the Leica 260SG Rotary Laser on the floor and turned it on.
Whoever created the lanes clearly had a defective laser. I had put the Leica 260SG Laser on the floor and the lanes were clearly tilted to the left. I decided to figure out what slop the lanes were positioned at. I hit the remote and the Leica 260SG’s laser beam started to bend until I matched it to the lane slope. I looked at the machine and realized that the lanes were at a 10% slope!
The construction company evidently was using an unreliable laser when they had created the bowling alley lanes. That is why when I am doing any job I only stick to known brands that have proven to be extremely steadfast thought out the years. Like the Leica 260 Single Grade Rotary Laser.
The Leica 260 Single Grade Rotary Laser is dependable and offers contractors a real choice of features and functionality. The Leica Rugby 260SG is a highly accurate, general construction laser with single grade capability. It is a rugged general laser with great accuracy of 1/6 of an inch at one hundred feet for leveling and 1/8 of an inch at one hundred feet for grade. New Spectra Precision DET-2 Digital Electronic Theodolite

A friend of mine has been complaining nonstop, about these brutal headaches he keeps getting. He claims that it starts with his eyes and then travels to the rest of his head. He blames them on his new Digital Theodolite that he just purchased. I was a little bit bewildered about his accusation until I realized that certain companies advertise that their Theodolites minimize eye fatigue which reduces headaches. I noticed that the Spectra Precision DET-2 Digital Theodolite advertises that it reduces eye fatigue, so I put it to the test. I took one of the Spectra Precision DET-2 Digital Theodolites that my company had in stock and gave it to my friend to borrow. I told him to see if he keeps getting the headaches when using the machine.

My friend called me a couple of days later and said that the new Theodolite had “cured” his headaches. He was absolutely thrilled! He decided to keep the machine, not only because of the relief to his brain, but also because he liked a lot of the features that the Spectra DET-2 Digital Theodolite had.

The Spectra Precision DET-2 Digital Theodolite, which is designed for general construction, gives you accurate measurements in an affordable, versatile and easy to use platform. The Spectra Precision DET-2 Theodolite has dual displays and controls for easy accessibility and operation and its very large backlit LCD characters is great easy readings. Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser

I bumped into one of my friends from my childhood, as I was shopping the other day. While we were catching each other up on our lives, he let me know that he is also in the construction business. We discussed each of our companies for a time, until he let slip that he ran into some legal troubles a couple months ago that was still ongoing.
He said that he had laid some sewer piping, for a big corporate office building and since the Pipe Laser that he was using wasn’t reliable, the pipe angles and its direction were incorrect. The Pipe Laser had given him an incorrect readout and so the piping was laid wrong and was causing a lot of issues within the building. He was now being sued for the issues, the money that they had paid him for the job, his license and anything else the corporate company could think of.
I was astounded. Every construction worker knows how important it is to use reliable and accurate instruments. I was glad that I owned the Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser. This Pipe Laser is an extremely reliable instrument that has a long lasting performance. One of the features that I love is the Service Alert Feature which allows the machine to keep track of its own maintenance needs, indicating at pre-set intervals when it’s time for a check up. If my friend would have owned the DG511, it would have informed him that there was something wrong with the machine before he began the job.
The Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser is also built and designed for the toughest job site and is completely waterproof. My Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser is usually involved in very harsh conditions and receives constant abuse from my crew. But the Spectra Precision DG511 Pipe Laser stands up to all that and corrosions from chemicals, acids and other destructive elements.
In addition to the DG511 Pipe Laser being very rugged, it also has the largest automatic leveling range in the industry providing quick, easy set-ups, regardless of grade. Unlike traditional pipe lasers, the DG511 Pipe Laser eliminates the need for rough leveling and minimizes crew training. Simply set up the laser in the pipe, manhole or open cut without the need to swivel or rough level the unit. There is no need to reset the unit over the center point, when rough leveling.

Leica Pipe Laser

The Leica Piper series of pipe lasers are perfect for: storm and sanitary sewer construction, gravity flow pipe line and anywhere grade and line are required with a single beam Powerful and compact, the Leica Piper is the only pipe laser that fits inside a 100 mm (four inch) pipe. It is built with solid cast-aluminum housings, and is loaded with features that will improve productivity and minimize downtime on the jobsite. It is ideal anywhere line and grade is required. It has a large clear display that makes it easier for contractors to read grade, line position, battery status, and level indication. The intelligent battery monitors the amount of charge/discharge so that contractors always know how much battery life they have left. The Leica Piper’s bright, visible beam is focused to maintain its crisp, clear spot and size over long distances. Automatic grade compensation easily identifies and corrects grade errors. It automatically self-levels over a full grade range, and eliminates the need to tip the laser for steep slopes.
The Leica Piper 200 features the Alignmaster function, a patented automatic targeting system that searches and finds the target for fast second day setups.

The Piper performs exceptionally well for my crew. They really like the compact design that allows them to easily place it in the tightest of inverts, and the bright beam stands out making the accurateplacement of the pipe a simple task.

Whether you have to precisely layout a construction site, perform control measurements, collect height and angle data, align concrete forms, install ceilings and partitions, lay gravity flow pipe, locateunderground services or complete site preparation and earthworks Tiger Supplies offers the right instrument, construction laser or machine control installation for your constructionapplication.

TruPulse Laser Range Finder

Sometimes, when I am out on the field, I am not confident that I am capturing the right measurements that I need. I get worried especially when I am trying to measure the sag of a power line or the height of a telecom tower. I was so nervous that I bought a new laser so that I would be secure and certain with my work.

The instrument that I purchased is called the TruPulse Laser Range Finder. It is such a practical device because it is small enough to fit in my vest pocket. The TruPulse Laser Range Finder, made by Laser Technologies Inc., goes beyond a “Laser Range Finder’s” regular capabilities. Not only can you measure a range, but you can also instantly measure a slope distance, inclination and azimuth and calculate horizontal and vertical distance all with a single push of a button.

There are a couple of different models of the TruPulse Laser. There is the TruPulse 200, 200B, 360 and 360B. The TruPulse 200 model measures horizontal and vertical distances, slope distance and inclination. It comes standard with a serial port, offers in-scope data display with 7x power optics and runs on 2 AA batteries. The TruPulse 200B model offers all the same functionality as the standard 200 model, but this laser has Bluetooth capabilities for wireless data collection.

The most advanced model is the TruPulse 360 Laser Range Finder. The TruPulse 360 Laser Range Finder has an integrated compass that allows you to measure azimuth and provides an extra onboard solution called the missing line. This is a simple two shot routine that instantly computes the distance inclination and azimuth direction value between any two remote points. Using exclusive TruVector compass technology, you can now obtain the best possible azimuth accuracy regardless of what pitch or angle you shot from. No other compass laser range finder can do that. The TruPulse 360B offers all the same functionality as the standard 360 model, but this laser has Bluetooth capabilities for wireless data collection

All the TruPulse Laser Range Finders have an onboard solution that only requires three shots to calculate a height or clearance value of any target. Since your last two shots are only measuring the inclination values to the top and base, you never need a clear line of sight to your target. The range of all of the TruPulse Laser Range Finder’s is 3,280 feet and 6,560 feet with a target plate. They all measure in feet, yards, meters and degrees and they are resistant to water and dust and most drops. You can quickly and accurately verify potential obstructions, span between poles, sag of power lines, as well as measure conductor clearance, crossbar heights and pole spans all without putting yourself in harms way. You can confirm bridge clearance, survey a stream and verify its width, measure spans and validate slope grades from the safety and convenience of one spot.

For downloading data into any compatible data collector, you can use the standard RS232 serial port or Bluetooth that is found in the TruPulse "B" models. Each shot taken automatically downloads a full data string that comprises of horizontal, slope and vertical distance, the degree of inclination, and azimuth values. These measurements can be used to remotely position a target when integrating with GPS or add a height value as an attribute in GIS.

Having superior optics with 7-power magnification and in-scope data display, you'll always be confident you are capturing the right measurement to the correct target. If your measurement were ever in question, you can toggle on the Closest or Farthest Mode to ensure the laser sensor is ignoring unwanted obstructions that are either in front or behind your desired target.

Leica Disto D330 Smart Horizontal mode Laser Distance Measuring

You can imagine how upset I was when I found out that Leica Geosystems was discontinuing the Leica Disto D3 Laser Distance Measurer Model. I couldn’t understand why they would discontinue such an affordable, accurate and efficient machine. I was very puzzled by Leica Geosystems decision, until I was forwarded the information about the Leica Disto D330 Laser Distance Measurer that Leica is releasing.

The Leica Disto D330 Laser Distance Measurer offers high precision at the touch of a button. Its accuracy is 1/16” at one hundred feet! The Leica Disto D330 large, illuminated display shows the measurement results and supplementary information clearly and legibly. It also has a soft grip and more rugged housing.

Thanks to Leica Disto D330 Smart Horizontal Mode, you can determine the horizontal distance precisely and simply because it can calculate the combination of distance and tilt measurements for you. If you take a measurement at an inclination of ± 45°, the Leica Disto D330 always calculates the shortest distance. Therefore, you can measure quickly and easily, even over the top of objects and people.
In addition, The Leica Disto D330 can calculate rectangular and triangular areas, volumes, room dimensions and various types of Pythagoras functions. It has enough memory to hold up to 20 measurements. All you need to do is aim the instrument straight at the target point, whether measuring out of corners, slots or from edges. The instrument detects the end piece automatically, which helps you avoid expensive measuring errors. The Leica Disto D330 will work great for anyone working as a plumber, electrician, plasterer, architect, appraiser, real estate agent, window installer, floorer, painter or a joiner!

Topcon Rotating Builders Red Beam Laser Level RL-VH4DR Interior Package.

In the last couple of weeks there has been nothing but noise in my company’s offices. Tiger Supplies is having major construction done on the building to expand and refurnish everything. When the construction team started working on putting up the walls and ceilings, you should have seen my manager’s face. He couldn’t believe that the construction workers were still using hand levels to make sure everything was straight. Using a hand level is so time consuming and there is a lot of room for error.
My manager decided to enlighten them and show them how much simpler and easier their jobs would be if they used a laser. He tried showing them a couple of different models but they weren’t interested. Then he opened the Topcon Rotating Builders Red Beam Laser Level RL-VH4DR Interior Package. They loved it from the second he turned it on.
He showed them how the Topcon RL-VH4DR laser is self leveling within five degrees and all you need to do is set the laser on a tripod or the floor and you are ready to work. If it is bumped or hit it will re-level itself or shut off so that there are no errors.
The Topcon RL-VH4DR also allows a line of focused laser to be drawn on any surface, to any length you need. And it stays there as long as you need, automatically, until you release it using the target. You can use Topcon laser’s 90 degree plumb beam to easily square walls and align wall track. Simply place the optional vertical target on your line, place the Topcon RL-VH4DR at the other end, and use the manual slope buttons, or the included RC-40 Remote to center the beam on the target.
Every Topcon RL-VH4DR series laser features a removable lighthouse guard. Simply push the release button and tilt the guard back for unobstructed operation. Snap it back in place for complete protection of the rotating head in harsh or potentially damaging environments.
The RL-VH4G also provides up to twice as many hours of operation from one set of alkaline batteries than other lasers and up to four-times more visiblility. The Topcon Rotating Builders Red Beam Laser Level RL-VH4DR Interior Package is an unbeatable combination! No wonder the construction workers loved it so much!

Leica Lino Plump laser Point to Point P3 and P5

The efficient solutions to accurate and professional plumbing and aligning tasks are being brought into Tiger Supplies’ warehouse next week! These instruments are just being released from Leica Geosystems and Tiger Supplies will be one of the first distributers to have them. They are called the Leica Lino P3 Dot Point Laser and the Leica Lino P5 Dot Point Laser. The Lino P3 is a three point laser; while, the Lino P5 is a five point laser.

Both of these instruments will revolutionize the way contractors, electricians, carpenters, decorators and painters work. The Leica Lino P3 and the Leica Lino P5 are quick and effortless to setup and they are practical and simple to operate. Both of the Dot Lasers have plumb up and down points along with horizontal leveling. The Lino P5 has the advantage of having two more laser points which are perfect for setting up right angles.

The Lino P5 and P3 will transfer all the dots needed, quickly and accurately. The laser beam is projected below and above the instrument allowing you to transfer reference dots swiftly and easily. Both of the Leica Dot Lasers are self-leveling and any minor angular misalignments of four degrees are automatically compensated. If the angular is greater, the device does not project any dots, which will prevent errors.

This greatly simplifies setting out tasks and makes your interior fitting-out more precise and efficient. In addition to the plumb beams, the Leica Lino P5 projects three dots at exactly the same height. Aligning windows, partition walls and other building elements with the Leica P3 or the Leica P5 Dot Lasers becomes quick and easy.

Leica Lino L2G Green Beam Cross line laser level

Leica Geosystems has just released a new Cross Line Laser called the Lino L2G Green Beam. This item is the perfect alignment tool that will save you time and the tedious job of drawing lines on the walls to make sure everything is straight. The Leica Lino L2G Cross Line Laser can help you align everything vertically, horizontally and even at an angle. This Leica level projects quickly, easily and precisely, so that you may concentrate on the job at hand. All you need to do is put the L2G Cross Line Laser where you need it, turn the laser on and start working.

Because the L2G Cross Line Laser is a self-leveling level, there is no time wasted on making sure the laser is straight and level. Minor angular misalignments of ± 4° are compensated automatically. If the angular misalignment is greater, the device does not project any lines so that errors are prevented. You can manually shut off the self-leveling function if you need the laser line to be projected at any angle alignment.

The quality of the optics in the device is important for the lines to be highly visible and sharp. The Leica Lino L2G is equipped with proven Power Range Technology to guarantee excellent visibility – even in a bright environment. The Leica L2G Green Beam shoots a beam that is four times brighter than a red beam laser. And through the extremely large aperture angle of the optics the device projects amazingly long lines on to the wall, making it ideal for transferring reference points on to nearby walls or ceilings. With an accuracy of +/- 1mm in 5m the Leica Lino L2G is one of the most precise devices in its class.

Even someone who has never worked with a level before can project exact horizontal and vertical lines on to a wall in next to no time. With the new Leica Lino L2G these everyday alignment and positioning tasks are completed extremely quickly and precisely.
