Ditch Your Bubble Level, Plumb Bob and Pencil – Leica Lino Dot Lasers Have it All

Have you ever tried installing a window or partition wall? How about a sprinkler system? Laying the perfect tiles you’ve just found for that new bathroom? No? Well, me neither. But I’ve encountered many contractors, plumbers and electricians in my line of work – enough to feel as if I’m the one doing the actual work! Ok, well maybe as the real construction professional here, you wouldn’t agree, but one thing I have certainly learned along the way is – perfect leveling and alignment is everything in this business. So, when searching for the ideal laser level to efficiently aid in these types of tasks, you’ll need a reliable and accurate tool. For a range of highly functional interior construction lasers, consider the Leica Lino line – all simple to operate and equipped with practical features.

Leica Lino Laser Levels - L2, P3, P5, L2P5
L2, L2P5, P5, P3
The six laser levels in the Lino family consist of three dot lasers and three line lasers. The L2, L2+ and L360 line lasers each create a level line around a room. These are very helpful for installing shelves, painting even borders or ensuring a straight row of pictures. Ill be talking about those lasers soon enough, but for now, I’ll be focusing on the amazing dot lasers.

All three Lino point laser levels have a working range up to 50 feet and are accurate within ±1/16 inch. They are each self-leveling and compensate for slight misalignments, making for quick set-up and eliminating errors. They are all IP54 dust and water resistant with robust housing. If that’s not enough, Leica’s Power Range Technology ensures that the laser beams are highly visible no matter which Lino you are using.

So, how will you decide which Lino dot laser is right for you?

Well, that depends on the functions and applications you need most. If you’re looking for easy plumbing and aligning with accurate transfer of points, the P3 3-beam laser is your best bet. If you want to also set out right angles, go for the P5 5-beam laser, which adds two more horizontal beams to the mix.

Perhaps your work requires more than what these dot lasers can offer. No problem! The L2P5 combines all the benefits of a line and dot laser into one instrument, so you can plumb, level, square and align in all directions. As you can see from the name, it has 2 lines (L) and 5 points (P).

All members of the Leica Lino point laser family come with a target plate and convenient carrying case for safe storage and transport. A multifunctional adapter in included in each package so you can mount your Lino laser magnetically, screw it onto a tripod or attach to various other surfaces. Now, how’s that for versatility?
