Spectra Precision GL700 Slop Laser

A farmer called me the other day about a patch of land that he needed to farm. Apparently the land was not flat but neither was it sloped in one direction. It had ridges and breaks, and small hills. The customer informed me that it was a large piece of land and he needed it sloping slightly so that when it rains the water would run off in one direction and not pool in one spot and cause the plants to die.
I got an email yesterday from a company that designs and builds pools. These pools are sometimes the large Olympic-type pools for commercial clients and sometimes small and unique pools for private citizens. They needed a laser that sloped in both axis. The Olympic type pools would just need one axis to slope but some of their smaller customers want to have fancy pools that slope in one direction or two or change their degree of slope in the middle of the pool.
A big golf company contacted me and told me that they were creating a new golf course and their five year old laser was just stolen. They wanted something that would give them the degree of slopes that they required on the field, but can also be used to create perfectly flat land. They needed the range to be far and accurate and would stay up to speed technology wise.
In all three instances I recommended the Spectra Precision GL700 Series. There was no doubt in my mind that the GL700 series would outperform the customers’ expectations.
The Spectra GL700 provides years of durable and precise performance on the job site that will keep you at the competitive edge. With the GL700 Series Lasers, Spectra Precision has created an innovative solution built for today’s construction industry, which is economical but more advanced than most lasers in its class. Its features range from a single grade laser to an advanced, long range radio controlled steep grade transmitter.
The Spectra GL700 series is for applications that require maximum stability and accuracy. Using its PlaneLok feature, you can virtually eliminate beam drift by locking the laser beam to a fixed elevation. All you have to do is simply set your hand held receiver at the desired elevation, select the PlaneLok mode on the remote control and the laser beam will remain exactly at that elevation all day long, regardless of the wind or temperature changes. This increased immovability and precision means less rework, better material control and a better bottom line.
Furthermore, the long-range remote control, with two-way communications between the laser and the remote, now allows you to change grade on the fly without approaching the transmitter. No more long walks to the laser to fix the grade. By remotely changing and reading grade information, you can speed setup and reduce costly communication errors.
The Grade Matching Mode and Automatic Axis Alignment also save you time and effort. These two features allow you to get grade faster and with more accuracy. If slope match is needed but you don’t know what the grades is, simply set your receiver at the same height as the transmitter, go to your remote point, press a button on the wireless remote and the transmitter automatically matches and displays the grade without returning to the laser. The GL700 Lasers also allow simple alignment of either side of any grade axis to the desired remote point. This simple, one-person operation lets you roughly align the transmitter to within 40 degrees of the remote point. You can then go to your remote point and, with a simple button press on the wireless remote, the axis is automatically aligned. The remote provides immediate confirmation of the alignment.
On site, you’ll find that the advanced features quickly translate into productivity and accuracy. Complex alignments are automatic and virtually foolproof. With the powerful, long-range remote control option it only takes one person to accurately set up and operate the grade laser. With the GL700 series, you can count on quicker set-ups and more productivity for more profitability. Get the right laser for the right job, get one of the GL700 Series Lasers.

GL700 SERIES LASERS
