Leica Disto D330 Smart Horizontal mode Laser Distance Measuring

You can imagine how upset I was when I found out that Leica Geosystems was discontinuing the Leica Disto D3 Laser Distance Measurer Model. I couldn’t understand why they would discontinue such an affordable, accurate and efficient machine. I was very puzzled by Leica Geosystems decision, until I was forwarded the information about the Leica Disto D330 Laser Distance Measurer that Leica is releasing.

The Leica Disto D330 Laser Distance Measurer offers high precision at the touch of a button. Its accuracy is 1/16” at one hundred feet! The Leica Disto D330 large, illuminated display shows the measurement results and supplementary information clearly and legibly. It also has a soft grip and more rugged housing.

Thanks to Leica Disto D330 Smart Horizontal Mode, you can determine the horizontal distance precisely and simply because it can calculate the combination of distance and tilt measurements for you. If you take a measurement at an inclination of ± 45°, the Leica Disto D330 always calculates the shortest distance. Therefore, you can measure quickly and easily, even over the top of objects and people.
In addition, The Leica Disto D330 can calculate rectangular and triangular areas, volumes, room dimensions and various types of Pythagoras functions. It has enough memory to hold up to 20 measurements. All you need to do is aim the instrument straight at the target point, whether measuring out of corners, slots or from edges. The instrument detects the end piece automatically, which helps you avoid expensive measuring errors. The Leica Disto D330 will work great for anyone working as a plumber, electrician, plasterer, architect, appraiser, real estate agent, window installer, floorer, painter or a joiner!
